Sorbalux® All-Purpose, Drain and I.V. Sponges are absorbent and fast wicking to reduce the risk of infection and minimize dressing changes. Made of polyester/rayon non-woven material, these sponges provide a soft surface for granulating wounds.
Sorbalux Drain and I.V. Sponges include a pre-cut slit to fit neatly around chest, tracheotomy, feeding, gastric and I.V. tubes to provide efficient patient care. This feature also eliminates the incidence of wound contamination caused by loose threads when sponges are cut manually.

Applications
Sorbalux® Drain and I.V. Sponges are pre-cut to form securely around tubes and to provide efficient patient care.
• For use in wound cleansing and prepping, ointment application, wiping needles, cleaning slides and more
• May be secured with a latex-free retention tape such as Omnifix®
• Use All-Purpose Sponge as a primary or secondary wound sponge
• Use Drain Sponge as sterile protection around chest, tracheotomy, feeding, and gastric tubes
• Use I.V. Sponge as sterile protection around I.V., mid-line, and central line catheters
