Sterilux® sterile and non-sterile gauze sponges are made of the highest quality USP Type VII gauze with a high yarn count and non-raveling folded edges to provide a highly absorbent, soft and low-linting product. A low-linting manufacturing process, and non-raveling folded edges, ensure debris-free sponges.
Sterilux Super Sponges are pre-washed and fluff-dried to produce a virtually lint-free product. To enhance efficiency and minimize the number of traditional sponges used, Super Sponges may be applied in place of multiple layers of gauze or non-woven sponges.
Non-sterile sponges are packaged in easy-to-open paper sleeves that provide a protective layer from dust and other contaminants. Sterile sponges feature an easy-to-open peel-back pouch that assures sterility. Sterile gauze sponges in durable hard trays may be used with fluids and solutions.
Sterilux Bulky Gauze Bandage is also highly absorbent and ideal for post-surgical and wound bandaging. Its six-ply construction offers protection and padding. Sterilux Bulky Bandage features finished edges to reduce lint and loose ends.
