AquaFil^TM is a sterile hydrogel wound dressing that creates and maintains a moist wound environment without macerating the surrounding skin. It softens hard necrotic tissue in order to facilitate wound cleansing. AquaFil protects epithelializing wound tissue and does not stick to the wound bed.

AquaFil is simple to apply and involves folding the hydrogel impregnated non-woven gauze dressing and placing it on the wound bed. The AquaFil amorphous hydrogel dispenser is easily activated by squeezing the hydrogel onto the wound bed and covering with a secondary dressing.
